Summary
Founded in 2020, WANA is a direct service provider to underesourced populations, including undocumented immigrants.
History
Formerly through a partnership with St. Mary's Episcopal Church, our food programs have been operating locally for over 40 years.
Relevance
For 10 years, WANA was the only shelter in NYC serving asylum seekers and refugees during a state of emergency.
